Terms & Conditions Updated 1 November 2026 — service and privacy disclosures. Online checkout is not open yet. Confirm availability directly with Muriel. Automated bookings will open only after the calendar, payment, insurance scope and service arrangements have been checked. 1. Your teacher and seller The seller is Muriel Mueller, a sole trader trading as MuMu Yoga, at 33 Cobham Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 3AE, contact mumuyoga8@gmail.com, not VAT registered. Your purchase is governed by the class description, order summary and these terms. The version agreed when you book applies to that order. We provide confirmation and a copy of the terms in a format you can keep. Website design/hosting by flywheel does not make flywheel the yoga instructor or merchant. 2. Classes and confirmation The booking summary states the teacher, class type, online/in-person format, date, time zone, length, level, price and equipment needed. Sample availability is not a confirmed reservation. A booking is accepted only when written confirmation has been sent and any required payment is verified. Confirmation must be sent to both the customer and Muriel, with the class details, UK time and joining instructions. This requirement still needs to be configured and tested in the live booking provider. Do not pay for a class until live availability, payment and confirmation are properly connected. A timetable placeholder cannot accept a reservation. If we cannot accept a payment/order we refund it without undue delay. 3. Payments, packs and vouchers The displayed total must include applicable taxes and compulsory charges. Stripe or another named secure provider handles payments; card details must not be supplied through messages. Class packs and vouchers state exactly how many sessions are included, what classes they apply to, validity dates, transfer rules and how to book before purchase. A four-class pack must be used within four weeks (28 days) from the date of booking. The booking date is day one; the pack expires at the start of day 29, in UK time. You may attend multiple eligible classes in a week, including all three scheduled group classes. Unused sessions expire after 28 days from booking. There is no automatic extension or change-of-mind refund for sessions left unused at expiry, and the pack may not be transferred to another person. This does not remove statutory cancellation or defective-service rights, or refunds and reasonable adjustments due when MuMu Yoga cannot provide the service. Fairness and any proportionate refund required by law take priority over expiry wording. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months after purchase and are normally non-refundable for a change of mind, subject to any statutory cancellation right, non-supply or defective-service remedy. The redemption process must be disclosed before sale. They do not auto-renew unless a separate subscription is expressly selected. Unprovided classes retain applicable cancellation/remedy rights; expiry terms must be fair and allow for teacher cancellations. Unused sessions are not automatically non-refundable in every circumstance. 4. Your cancellation or rescheduling Cancellations are accepted when notice reaches customer support at least 24 hours before the class starts. Email mumuyoga8@gmail.com with your booking details; we confirm receipt. With at least 24 hours’ notice, a refund, credit or rescheduled class is available. For late cancellations, non-attendance or illness, the normal policy is no refund. Private sessions and any requested change to their arrangements must be agreed directly with Muriel before booking; the agreed deadline will be included in the booking confirmation. These policies do not remove statutory rights or the fair-charge safeguards below. Any disclosed late-cancellation charge must be fair and proportionate to net loss, accounting for expenses saved or replacement attendees. Exceptional circumstances are assessed reasonably; blanket penalties are not used to remove consumer rights. If you cannot attend, do not pass a private class link to another person without agreement. A no-show is subject only to the clearly disclosed, fair policy accepted at booking. 5. Cancellation by MuMu Yoga If we cancel or cannot supply an agreed class, you may choose a suitable replacement or a refund for the unprovided class. A compulsory credit does not replace a refund legally due. We explain substantial changes to the teacher, timing or format before the session; if they materially change what you purchased, an appropriate alternative or refund is offered. If the instructor's connection fails and the session cannot reasonably be delivered, we offer rescheduling or an appropriate refund. We take reasonable steps to address disruption rather than disclaiming every technology failure. 6. Consumer cooling-off rights Eligible distance service purchases carry a 14-day cancellation period. Specific-date leisure classes may fall within a statutory exception, but this must be checked for the exact product and disclosed before purchase. Undated packs, vouchers, memberships and private arrangements must be assessed separately; we do not say that all yoga purchases lose cooling-off rights. If early service performance is requested during an applicable cancellation period, we obtain the required express request and explain any proportionate charge for service already supplied. A service cancellation right ends on full performance only when the legal requirements are met. Defective-service remedies remain even where an exception applies. An optional model cancellation form is available in the downloadable version of these terms; any clear cancellation message is sufficient. 7. Safe participation and health suitability Yoga is physical activity with inherent risks. Practise within your own ability, use a stable surface and sufficient clear space, stop if you experience pain, dizziness or distress, and follow reasonable safety instructions. Before joining, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where you are unsure about suitability because of pregnancy, an injury, recent surgery, a medical condition or other relevant concern. Tell the instructor privately about relevant limitations using the agreed secure channel so appropriate modifications can be discussed. This does not transfer responsibility for negligent instruction to you. The instructor may recommend a different class or decline participation when reasonably necessary for safety, explaining an appropriate refund/rescheduling arrangement. Online teaching cannot provide the same observation or physical assistance as an in-person class. In an emergency contact your local emergency service; the class is not emergency care. 8. Scope, qualifications and access The classes support general movement and wellbeing; they do not diagnose, treat or cure illness or promise fertility, menopause or mental-health outcomes. Any specialist claims must match actual qualifications and insurance. The minimum age is 16. Bookings for 16–17-year-olds require direct approval before purchase. Muriel must confirm appropriate guardian consent, safeguarding and emergency arrangements before accepting the booking. Do not assume that purchasing a place establishes approval. Teaching from a country outside the confirmed insurance territory also requires direct approval before purchase. We discuss reasonable access needs before participation rather than assuming everyone can perform a movement. These terms do not exclude our duty to use reasonable care and skill. 9. Technology, privacy and recordings You need the disclosed internet connection, device and video platform. Keep invitation links private. Muriel’s current class practice requires participants to keep cameras on. Discuss any access, communication or privacy needs privately before booking. Muriel will confirm whether a suitable adjustment can be agreed, and any effect on safety or participation, before accepting payment. See our accessibility and class-safety information. Keeping a camera on is not consent to recording or publicity. Occasionally, on request, a recording may be purchased by one person who is not attending the class. Only the teacher is filmed; other students must not be visible or audible. The recording is supplied only to that requester and must not be redistributed. Recording sales are paused. A recording cannot be offered or made for sale until secure delivery, access restrictions, storage and deletion arrangements have been confirmed and explained to the customer. Recording must not begin unless participant exclusion and the appropriate notices and lawful basis are in place. Testimonial/publicity permission is optional and separate from buying a class. Separately planned promotional filming requires permission for the specific footage and channels before filming or use; the teacher-only rule above concerns recordings sold to non-attendees. The promotional permission form is separate from these service terms. Declining publicity does not prevent class attendance or change the price. See the privacy notice for retention and withdrawal arrangements. Health information is collected only when necessary, through an approved private process with an identified lawful basis and special-category condition, not on a public form or group chat. The privacy notice explains processors, retention, rights and how consent may be withdrawn where relied upon. There is currently no website newsletter signup. 9A. Website provider and third-party service interruptions This website and its connected features depend on services supplied by Flywheel, our website service provider, and by external hosting, infrastructure and technology providers. If Flywheel is unable to provide an essential hosting, maintenance, deployment or recovery service, the website or affected features may become unavailable, operate intermittently or remain unavailable until access or service is restored or a suitable replacement is arranged. An interruption to a development tool does not necessarily interrupt an already running website. Such disruption may arise from a third-party outage, service discontinuation, or suspension, restriction or revocation of an account, licence, API or administrative access outside our or Flywheel’s reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. We will take reasonable steps within our control to reduce the disruption, work with the relevant provider and, where practicable, arrange restoration or a suitable alternative. This provision does not excuse a failure caused or prolonged by our breach, negligence or failure to take reasonable precautions, or remove responsibility we otherwise have for our suppliers. Website unavailability does not by itself cancel an accepted booking or remove an existing entitlement to purchased content or services. If disruption prevents us from supplying something you have paid for, we will explain the available alternatives and provide any rescheduling, repeat performance, price reduction or refund required by your contract or applicable law. You do not have to accept credit instead of a refund legally due. Nothing in this provision excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory right or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. This update applies to future contracts and does not retrospectively reduce rights under existing orders. 10. Conduct and materials Respect other participants' confidentiality. Do not record, copy, redistribute or commercially teach from protected class material without permission. We may end attendance for serious disruption or unsafe conduct, but any payment decision must be fair and proportionate. We remain responsible for the conduct and instruction within our control. Ownership/licensing of photographs and videos must be checked separately; appearing on a website does not establish copyright permission. 11. Liability and complaints Nothing excludes or limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or other liability that law prohibits us from limiting. Consumers retain statutory rights to reasonable care and skill and appropriate remedies. We do not require a blanket assumption of all risk, indemnity for our errors, or waiver of every claim. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or lack of reasonable care and skill. Contact mumuyoga8@gmail.com with the booking details; we investigate and explain the appropriate remedy and any applicable ADR information. Incident reporting and handling If an incident or concern occurs during a class, stop participating and tell Muriel promptly. Obtain appropriate urgent help first where needed; a website message is not an emergency service. Afterwards, email mumuyoga8@gmail.com with the class date and a brief description. Muriel will acknowledge and review the concern, record only necessary facts, restrict access and retain the record only for a justified complaint, legal or insurance purpose. Records are reviewed at least annually and deleted when no longer needed, subject to an applicable legal hold. This process does not require you to waive a claim or replace any statutory remedy. 12. Changes and law Changes to terms apply to future orders; accepted bookings are not retrospectively altered. English law applies on this drafting basis while preserving consumers' mandatory local protections and available courts. Teaching overseas requires insurance, territorial and legal review; these terms do not certify worldwide eligibility. Emergency/safeguarding procedures and the intended teaching territories must be confirmed separately from website terms. International enquiries and service availability We welcome enquiries worldwide. Before accepting a service, we check the customer’s location, the actual service and delivery method, and any relevant legal, insurance, licensing, provider, payment or tax restrictions. We explain material eligibility restrictions and essential technical requirements before acceptance or payment. Website accessibility alone does not confirm that every service is available in every country. These provisions apply prospectively and do not remove an accepted booking, purchased entitlement or remedy. Mandatory consumer protections and available legal remedies remain where applicable. If we cannot supply an accepted service, we explain the available alternatives and provide the remedy required by the contract and applicable law.
